About the algorithm:
This variometer employs a sophisticated mathematical technique known as ‘Sensor fusion’ to achieve its high level of responsiveness. By combining data from various sensors on your devices, accuracy and responsiveness are significantly enhanced. This innovative feature was developed in collaboration with researchers from the University of Louvain in Belgium.
Due to the algorithm's complexity and efficiency, substantial computational resources are required. As a result, optimal responsiveness is primarily achievable on more recent devices, although the app remains functional but less responsive on older models.
